Math 9

11 Dec
  • Homework from last night was checked and noted.
  • Notes Important Notes on Equations and InequalitiesHERE #1-10 are left unsolved so you can try them again on your own
  • Tomorrow students will see an in-class assignment on solving and graphing inequalites (most graphs will just be on the number line with a few on Cartesian Plane).
  • Please note: In the notes from today which are linked above, the difficulty increases quite quickly with #7-10. For tomorrow’s assignment, there will be nothing like those four questions. More refreshing with graphing linear equations will be done before assessments include that difficulty.
  • Homework: A number of students are starting to fall behind on homework. This is the first week of term two, so students should be making a renewed effort to stay on top of assigned work. There is no new homework for tonight; but remember that, before long (before winter break),  I will be collecting samples of assigned homework to mark. If you do not complete homework when it is assigned, be sure to complete it as soon as possible to avoid accumulating zeros for marks.
  • Tomorrow is extra help; usual conditions apply. Students not making a clear effort to complete homework, or not using class time appropriately will not be admitted.
