Chapter 2 test was today…looked better than the assignments were over the last two weeks!
Moving on with chapter 3 on Thursday (Take our Kids to Work day tomorrow).
Although it wasn’t assigned, students could begin working on the Get Ready for chapter 3… just up to #9 though.

Answer key from Friday’s assignment is posted on the Documents (9) page, along with many other board shots and pdfs from the past two weeks. If you haven’t been doing so, check that page regularly for notes you may have missed.
Test tomorrow (Tues, 06Nov), all of chapter 2 (it will be remarkably similar to the last two assignments put together, except closed book/closed notes).
Practice with plotting points on graphs; naming polygons by their vertices and prime notation. The three transformations were again reviewed and students were left with the last part of #6 in the Get Ready for chapter 2…asking which transformation is applied to get from the first triangle to the second.
See photos of board notes in the Documents (8) page…Link is at the top of this page.
In class open-notes assignment was today on the rest of chapter 2. It was nearly identical to the tasks done in class this week (electronic notes are on the documents page).
Weekend work should consist of re-working all assigned tasks for this chapter and the chapter review/practice test from the end of the chapter (plus the handout with similar work on it)
Tuesday will be the chapter test (closed notes) which will look like a combination of the past two assignments from today and last Friday. Monday, as usual, will be extra help at lunch time.
Further preparation for tomorrow’s assignment (open-notes)
Here is a link to pdf version of the work done over the last two days. The assignment will look very similar to this: math9ch2test prep

No NEW homework for tonight, just finish what may not have been done last night.
